Hi Melody, I really enjoyed a peak into your life in Advent. The amount of snow you get is incredible! Here in the south of the U.K. We only get a couple of small snowfalls a year, about an inch or two. It brings everything to a standstill as we just are not used to driving in it. The snow toffee looked such fun, and the skating. We don’t have too many ice rinks here as it is not a popular sport but at Christmas there are quite a lot of outdoor rinks opened in towns and cities as part of the Christmas celebrations. I absolutely love your shawl and think $5 was a bargain. It completely suits you and you should wear it often. I live just a few miles from Jane Austin’s house in Chawton. There is a little museum there which has an incredibly beautiful garden in summer. You would love it.
