A Hat
Otherwise known as the worlds most perfect car knitting project, which is to say, expect a lot of these!
Installment number one here is for my Middlest Boy. It all started with a scrap of good, old, hand-me-down yarn that my friend Becky had left over from making a scarf. It’s a fun, funky, artisan yarn, spun from a variety of recycled fibers. The little wisps of metallic gold were the part that really caught his eye. So he took that little ball and sorted through my basket of yarn until he came up with a combination that he fancied and thus a new hat was born…

Oh, sorry, I guess that's not obvious to other people! We live in a rural area, so looking at houses means driving a half an hour here and then an hour there, another twenty minutes this way and then back home again. Then the next day has us going a different direction with a different combination of distances. So yeah, we end up logging a lot of miles that way.

The hat looks great! Your Elijah reminds me of my Oliver- with his pretty face and eyes!
We live in a place where we have to drive half hour to get anywhere at all. . .I know what you're dealing with. Ug.

Nice hat! I know you are busy knitting/sewing for your family, but I see a "side" business for you as you do such quality and beautiful work!
Hope your family finds a nice home with plenty of outside space for your clan. I belong to a homestead group (Homesteading Today) on the internet.
